Everyone is welcome to attend the next Open Board Meeting of the Rotherham Federation of Communities to be held between 10am and 1pm on Thursday 30th November 2017 at Springwell Gardens Community Centre.

As well as the formal business during the first hour, there will be workshops to get your views on the Repairs journey for Rotherham Council tenants. These workshops will help  the Federation prepare a  scrutiny report on the Appointments, Communications and the Customer Journey for Repairs. There will be a mixture of activities held during the morning collating  views on the council’s repairs process and how it can be improved.

David Ramsden, Chair of the Tenant Scrutiny Panel said “ we are really keen to get tenants views on the appointment, communication and customer journey for repairs and welcome your views on what works well and what improvements can be made”.

Steve Ruffle, CEO of Rotherham Federation added “council tenants tell us good quality repairs to their homes are the most important service they receive from their landlord. Satisfaction levels with repairs are very high but we want to look in more detail on ways the appointment and communications process could be strengthened and improved”.

Rotherham Federation Scrutiny Panel is independent of RMBC and undertakes reviews of council housing services and makes recommendations for improvement in services.

Whether you are a council tenant or someone interested in improving this service, everyone is welcome to the meeting. The workshop will be followed by a free buffet lunch. To book your place contact Rotherham Federation on 01709 268515 or email .
