Rotherham Deaf Future
Rotherham Deaf Futures is a tenants and residents group run by and for the deaf community. The group organises events, meetings and training for all users of British Sign Language in Rotherham.
Rotherham Deaf Futures is leading on support for Deaf in Rotherham with Deaf advice and other help for Deaf - drop in on Friday's between 10am and 3pm and join them.
Rotherham Deaf Social at Springwell Gardens Community Centre
12 noon -3pm on Fridays at Springwell Gardens Community Centre.
All Deaf welcome.

Upstairs there is a cafe, interpreters are available as is help with phonecalls and letters.
35 Deaf and hearing people attended the 2016 Annual General Meeting of the Rotherham Deaf Futures Group on Friday 4th March 2016 at Springwell Gardens Community Centre.

Reports were presented of the successful activity of the group during the last year and the accounts were presented. The groups holds regular meetings and run an advice club for Deaf every Friday. Janine Moorcroft from Rotherham Council spoke about the vision for Adult Social Care and other Deaf members spoke of their aspirations for the group during the following year. The meeting finished with a buffet provided by Vickie Hobson from RotherFed.
